Playsoccer Ghana (PSG) is a Ghanaian non-profit association and a member of the Play Soccer Network called the with six affiliated country organisations (USA, Cameroun, Malawi, Senegal, South Africa and Zambia). The Association was started in 2001 as the Network's first pilot programme and over the years it has expanded from a single site with 100 children to 1500 children currently registered at 11 sites in six regions in the country with the motto;

In 2007, Play Soccer Ghana was chosen by & as one of the initial six organisations selected as a Football for Hope Centre Host organisation thus becoming responsible for managing the Football for Hope Centre at Oguaa., which consists of facilities dedicated to education and public health as well as an artificial turf football pitch.

We use football as a tool to teach, health, social and football skills to children between the ages of 5-15 years in disadvantaged communities. Our program aims at equipping the children with the requisite life skills needed for their healthy development into skilled, capable, educated and responsible adults and thus become agents of change within their communities as well as act as a catalyst for community development on a whole.
